    Frame rate conversion

Is it possible, and if so what is the easiest way to make a NTSC 29.978 fps VCD from a Divx 23.978 fps film source.

I already tried 3:2 pulldown under the advanced tab but than the outcome is interlaced.

    Thanks Robert.

Why would you possibly want to do that? Virtually any standalone DVD player in the NTSC part of the world can readily playback a 23.976Fps VCD...

The reason i want to do that is because when i convert from divx film 23.976 to vcd film 23.976 the movie speeds up from time to time during playback for a second or so. But when i convert a divx 29.976 to a vcd 29.976 the movie plays smooth. So i figured it has something to do with the 23.976 framerate.

      Thanks, Robert
