How to take an MPG of a SVCD

Is there a special way of removing a mpg2 file off a SVCD or can you just copy and rename the AVSEQ01.MPG file on the CD.

Also if a SVCD is coded in the American TV format rather than PAL can i easily change this using say TMPGEnc straight from SVCD file to SVCD file?

You can extract the .mpg file by using VCDGear GUI, found here with a nice guide.

You can change the NTSC format into PAL format in TMPGenc.
Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? Fixes common problems too:

      Thanks gd_nimrod

I did as you suggested and now my PAL TV plays my SVCD's.

I used daemon tools and GUIGEAR together to extract the mpg so i don't have to burn a US based SVCD.

      Cheers

          Alternatively, you can use ISOBUSTER
