Problem in burning xvid in nero!!

Hi, I need some help, I have the movie "the sweetest thing" which for some reason when I try to encode it and burn in Nero Nero just shuts -off. I set everything up and when I go to write it ...it just vanishes. It has done this with a couple of other movies as well with were xvid files under Sharereactor!!!.....can someone please shed some light.......very frustrated here!!!!! Anyone else having the same problem???

I presume you are making a VCD/SVCD to play on your standalone DVD player.

Use TMPGEnc to encode the video and Nero to burn as VCD/SVCD.

Thank-you for your advice, I'm not to familiar with TMPGE, the once I tried it for a short video I had no sound. Could you direct towards the right path?? How come there was no sound??lol
