hi there i am wondering if anyone can sugest a program that can convert mpeg2 to mpeg1 that is quick..i tried tmpgenc and it takes about 2 hours for one cd,,i think that is so slow there must be a faster proggie to use,,,if so can anyone help please

The following "quick and dirty" method only takes a few minutes -Use TMPGEnc as follows:
File>>MPEGTools>>Simple Multiplex
Load your SVCD file
Change mode to "MPEG1-VideoCD"
Enter a new filename in the "Output" box
Press the "Run" radio button
(Do not be concerned about any "Buffer underflow" messages you may see)
Burn (DO NOT ask burning software, such as NERO to CONVERT to VCD, rather merely BURN as a VCD) -

hi setarip well in tried that what u told me but it didnt do anything if i load it into nero it still says it needs to be converted,,,is there any other way..prefferable without tmpgenc having anything to do with it?,,,thanxComment
