    TMPGEnc Settings?

    Hi everybody!

    I´m encoding a mpeg2-svcd file in TMPGEnc.
I would like to know which setting I should use to get the best result?
I´m new in this program but I have made a couple of tests.
Is it possible to get the exact same quality as the origional clip?

If you're making the svcd to view on your dvd standalone, then don't worry about the quality on your computer screen - it always looks better on the tv.

Try and use a video bitrate above 1700 for good results, and above 2000 for great ones.
