    TMPGEnc write errors

Whenever i try to convert an xvid movie into an mpeg-1 file to turn into a vcd, I get a write error during sometime of the process. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue. I am using the latest stable binary from keopi (sp?). Thanks for your help.

I also had problems with encoding XVID to MPEG....so I searched in Pegasys BBS for XVID and found a great fix for my problem

It was posted in DVDRHELP´s forum:

    And it work just fine

ps/ Write down the original settings or take a screendump so you can restore them if you need to /ds

Just so you understand, the settings at the DVDHelp forum actually have NOTHING to do with XVID-compressed .AVIs. Rather, the increase of the priority of the Direct Show Mulimedia reader allows TMPGEnc to recognize and process .AC3 audiostreams (with which many XVID videos are created)...

Well it works and that is the main thing....and when I encode
XVID to XVCD/XSVCD I code only the movie part whith TMPGEnc
and audio whith HeadAC3he. But first i decompress the audio
to pcm before I code either video or audio.
          (And I multiplex whith BBMPEG.)
So the settings has got to something whith XVID-video,
but what I dont know....I´m just happy that i works now
