23,976 fps to NTCS or PAL ?

Ok, i have a avi that has 23,976 fps. If i try to convert it to mpeg2 PAL dvd or NTSC dvd with TMPGenc it gets jumpie, it's not "smooth" anymore. If i convert it to SVCD NTCS, its ok... (before it starts to convert, it says in the bottom "telecine" ??) But the problem is i want a NTSC dvd or PAL dvd mpeg2 format, not a SVCD. How do i solve this ?

23.976 fps is for NTSC format. It's recommended to use it only for the VCD format. If you encode in SVCD at this frame rate, you could have some smooth problemes when you will play it. But I think TMPGEnc recalculate the frame rate, so, never mind.
