Jerky Vid Woes!!!..........

I have a avi vid, 23.976 fps. I have just converted to svcd with TMPGEnc, However playback is kinda jerky It doesnt run nice and smooth. (when I converted with TMPGEnc it says it does telecone Process at the bottom, What does this do?)

The pic quality is great I just need the vid to run smoothly cos at the mo it looks like it is slightly speeded up!

Please any help any one!!

If you are, as I recall, in the UK, select the TMPGEnc template for PAL SVCD...
