TMPGEnc Stops?

    TMPGEnc Stops?

    Hi folks,

    got a problem with TMPGEnc.
    Suddenly the programm hang on everytime.
    ne1 had this problem before?

    There is no error message and the version of TMPGEnc is 2.5

    Since you state that this is constantly happening, I'd suggest you uninstall TMPGEnc and then reinstall it...

      I got the same problem with every version of tmpgenc....my pc freezes: did you find the solution?

        No I didn't find a solution.

        But in my case the PC doesn't freeze... only TMPGEnc is not responding..

        Strange thing.

          Does it hang as soon as you open it or while encoding something?

            While encoding any movie....maybe it's the temperature, but i never had such problems. I reinstalled windows but i have the same problems. really don't know why.....

              A firend of mine recently had many lockups. No idea why.
              He cleaned about 1/2 inch of dust of processor heatsink and problem solved.

              In yout case, might be worth checking.

              Try this to see if an overloaded CPU is your problem.

                  i'm having the same problem as i write (i think) but i've noticed it's actually encoding 1 second every 5-6 minutes. Would this be indicative of a cpu overload?
