    SVCD Help

I am having a bit of a problem, I am trying to encode a short clip to a SVCD that I exported from Flash MX, in PAL 4:3 format (480x576, - Windows AVI format directly exported from flash), using TMPGEncoder Plus 2.59.47.155. I selected the "SVCD (PAL)" option in the TMPGEnc wizard, converted my movie, burned it using Nero, and when I played it on my TV's DVD player, it has a small bit of the sides disapearing off the side of the screen, making it loose the sides of the movie. I am wondering, is this normal behaviour, or am I doing something wrong? I am a "newbie" at this, I've only encoded a few things here and there, but this made me stop and wonder what was going wrong. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

PS: I used the DEFAULT options in TMPGEncoder, and didnt change ANYTHING.

    Try the following in TMPGEnc:

Under the "Advanced" tab, set "Video arrange method to "Center (Custom size)" and enter 480x576.

(If these options are "greyed out", click on the "Load" radiobutton and doubleclick on "Unlock.mcf")
