Tmpgenc Problem (I think)

I have Tmpgenc Plus (ver. 2.53.35.130) and (ver. 2.53.35.162).

Either one I use - I get this: I'll have my video and audio file - everything will be cool w/those two files. I run through the wizard to set up encoding into an SVCD (or VCD) - usually about 1/2 way though encoding - Tmpgenc just stops and closes and tha's that. So, I'm sitting there going WTF just happend?

Anyone have any idea why Tmpgenc would do this?

does it do it with any file you want to convert?
if not check your source file(s) for errors.

fix your source file if necessary.
if yes... uninstall both versions of tmpeg and reinstall only one of it
at a time.

restart and do try once more.

Are you possibly running low on available hard drive space?

20GB of free space. Not too low right now. I'll have to try the uninstall/reinstall. But Tmpqence doesn't install files all over your computer - everything goes to one folder - so not much to uninstall - I'll just junk the whole folder.

Are you using multi-threads there was an issue with some versions of tmpgenc that made it crash halfway through if so.
