    Nero SVCD

I've started using NERO 6 and had downloaded some AVI's (?) of some British TV shows, and was able to put them directly onto SVCD using Nero. Great..No Problems.

I then went onto downloading some DiVx, and using Virtual Dub to split them into 2 for Nero SVCD's.

When I attempted to load the AVI's into Nero for SVCD encoding, I got the following Message:

Patent License Restrictiion-MPEG-2 Encoding/Conversion Not Available.

Fo all those of you who are certified Genius's regarding this subject, does a shareware plug in to allow me to do SVCD with Nero Exist? No problem for SVD when I tried that though, but I do wish the incresed resoloution.

Thanks, and geez, have I got more questions after this!

Your "cheapest" solution may prove to be TMPGEnc. Guides on how to use tmpgenc at divx-digest, doom9.org, and dvdrhelpc.om
