    Windows XP keeps on crashing...

I used so many different apps to convert avi to mpeg.
    I used Ulead Studio.
    Xing
    Tmpgenc
    avi2mpg2
Everytime I try to convert it keeps on crashing after a minute or two.
Anyone know how to fix this?
And does anyone else have this problem?

i have the most updated version of tmpegenc.
I just used nero's encoder and it crashes on me too.
      I have an athlon 1ghz. and it's a laptop.
some of my friends tell me it's because my hard drive is nearly full.
But i have 3 gig left out 18.(i know i filled up alot)
      any suggestions?

        not hard drive

Its not your hard drive. My hard drive is only 8.4 in total, and after winxp and program files there is only a couplr of gb left. at the moment i only got 800MB and i can still encode fine so it wouldn't be your hard drive.

            probably files

Hey i would probably think that it would be the files that you are trying to encode, but im not completely sure.

            Best of luck
