    29,97-->23,97-->29,97

    I got some StandUp videos from one of my friends but the Morom have "Inverse Telecine" them, and it is kinda bad when they were Interlaced and were meant for 60Hz NTSC television.

    So is it possible to get it back somehow so it becomes a smooth playback insteed of choppy???

    (The clips are in 720x480 so the interlace lines show, but I wanna make them into DVD's so they needs to be there.)

    If, as you described, the video (presumably MPEG-2) was inappropriately converted to 23.976fps from 29.970fps, it should simply be a matter of loading the file into TMPGEnc, set mode to "plain vanilla" MPEG-2 (NOT "MPEG-2SuperVideoCD") and from under the "Video" tab, setting "framerate" to 29.970...

      I tried to make a 29,970 movie out of it, it didn't work it just made it more choppy

      I opened the file in TMPGEnc and encoded it as MPEG2 29,970 both non interlaced and interlaced.

        Try using the "3:2 pulldown" filter under the "Advanced" tab - Then go beat up your friend, "The Moron" ;>}
