    TMPGEnc Settings

Hi, I am encoding some episodes of Kenshin for a friend of mine in VCDs. I had TMPGEnc set up so that I fit 4 episodes of about 185 MB each plus the opening and ending in one CD, and I saved a template just for that. But I had to reinstall Windows due to a lot of problems I had (gotta hate Windows) and I ended up losing that template, cos I had a million things to backup and I forgot that.

But now I just can't remember them for the life of me, I was trying a lot of stuff but nothing. Everything I'm trying now is giving me episodes with 199 MBs, it's really weird.

My question is, can I find them out (bitrates) by looking the encoded files that I have on my hard drive from before reinstalling Windows with some program?

I've tried that with VirtualDub but it didn't give me accurate information.

Oh btw, this is not a regular VCD, I took the KVCD template as a base but I modified some stuff, like I used 2-pass VBR etc.

    I appreciate any reply. Thanks.

I suggest you use a bitrate calculator first before encoding to find out the exact bitrate you need to use.

I just tried that, and God knows why, no matter the bitrate I choose it comes out with 199 MB. :S

Something's really wrong here, I have made many encodes with TMPGEnc before, this is a first.
