By DV, do you mean you're trying to capture video directly from your DV camera?

If so, you see a special program, that usually is in collaboration with your DV Camera. For example, I have a Sony DV Camera, and in order to capture the DV, I use DVGate (a program that came along with the camera, which I installed on my computer).

Are you capturing with that program using HuffyUV codec....or some other one? Can you choose the capture codec with that program? Thanks for the reply

I'd go with the DV codec (avi file), and then you can work with it like you work with Huffyuv (both are avi files)
