    TMPGEnc

I'm a newbie in this video world. I downloaded a copy of TMPGenc and read the entire guide (Nicky's guide). I converted an AVI file.. worked fine (I can play it perfectly).. the only question is how to burn the CD... I've looked at the TMPGenc DVD author... but that seems to be olny for authoring DVD.s. What I want to do is to create VCD, not DVD. I'm running ME on a Vaio desktop.

    Thanks

If, in fact, you've used TMPGEnc to create a compliant MPEG1-VideoCD file (and note a "plain vanilla" MPEG-1 file), use a burning program, such as NERO to burn your CD-R or R/W CD as a VCD (DON'T ask NERO to format the file as a VCD, since you've already accomplished this!)
