what is the problem?
you have XviD encoded video with dolby digital sound.You need Xvid decoder and ac3 filter for play back.(available in downloads section)

I assume that you have to do some editing
with virtual dub.....

to process a file like this you must have a xvid codec
and an ac3 filter installed.....as said before....

the standart version of virtual dub is not able to process
ac3 streams (5 channel)

use either virtual dub ac3 or VIRTUALDUB MOD
to deal with this kind of avifiles...

as i wrote in my previouse message when i try to uncompress this file and save it back as an avi i got an error "no audio decompresor found".
what should i do?

you need an ac3 filter or codec to do so.....

and virtual dub mod ... read my earlier post !!

an ac3 filter is included in the tsunami filter pack or nimo codec pack....but install ONLY the filters you need of these packs....

i downloaded the virtualdubmod but there is no audio option

the audio option can be found in stream ---> streamlist....

by rightclicking on the now showing audio streams
you can now acess the editing features....

if editing/extracting an ac3 stream use full processing mode......
