    VCD CUtter Problem... HELP!

    Alright kiddies here it goes,
    I have been making my vcds for a while now using flask mpeg and when the full mpeg of the video is finished I use VCD cutter to split the mpeg into 2 files for the vcds, lately (and progressivly getting worse) the second mpeg of the 2 will not play in media player. I used to be able to still burn the disk in nero as a vcd and it would play in the dvd player but now that wont even happen??? Should I just get a different splitting prog or is it simething I did wrong??? Thanx all - Mike

    Without trying to figure out what's gone wrong with VCD Cutter - assuming that your files are initially "plain vanilla" MPEG1 format, I'd suggest that you use TMPGEnc (File>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut) to perform this simple task. Just make certain to set the mode to "MPEG1-Video CD" and NOT simply"MPEG1" when you enter the "Merge&Cut" area. You really only NEED to use a program such as VCDCutter when you're cutting files already formatted as "MPEG1-VideoCD".

    Let us know of your success ;>}
