    Making VCD's using TMPGenc?

    Hi,

    I wanted to use TMPGenc to convert my Vob files to a Mpeg file. I heard is was possible with some extra filters or codecs.Unfortunately I wasn't able to find those.

    So can you tell my how to convert .Vob to VCD using TMPGenc?

    Thank you very much in advance!

    Yours,

    Tommy.

    1) Use flaskmpeg/xmpeg as a frameserver.

    see: "http://www.rmvos.nl/" -> manuals -> Xmpeg & Premiere plugin + TMPG

    2) Install avisynth and make an avs in a texteditor containing one line:

    DirectShowSource("filename.vob")

    and open this avs file in TMPGEnc. But before that you have to install a mpeg2-codec. (WMP must be able to play it)

    You can probably find some guides about frameserving and avisynth on:

    "http://www.doom9.net/" and "http://www.divx-digest.com/articles/#frameserving" and "http://nickyguides.digital-digest.com/"

      Easy way I've found is:
      SmartRip to Hard Drive
      DVD2AV, Loan Vob (Pick first Vos, DVD2AVI will list all Vobs Afterwards).
      Select Save Project (give it a name)
      After that, Load TMPG and browse for Video file (Will have ending D2V) then Audio File and you are away laughing
