SVCD file to big 4 700MB cd

Heres the deal. I have 80 Minute / 700MB disks that I wanted to fit a SVCD on. I let AVI2SVCD encode it and everything. It manually split it into 2 parts so it could fit onto a normal CD....or so I thought. Both of the files are 734MB. 34MB over the CD limit. I believe my CD writer has overburnning capabilities (it is a HP cd-writer 9100 series). I have tried CDRwin and Nero to overburn, and it says that the CD does not hold enough space (when I am positive it does). Does anyone know of any program that will do either one of the following:

    1) Enable me to cut a few minutes off the end of my video so that the file size will be under 800MB (virtual dub doesnt work)
    or
    2) Enable overburn, and won't give an error about the CD will not hold 734MB.

    Thanks,

What about getting some 800mb cd-roms (price is almost the same as 700mb). Not a fancy solution but it works 100% garantied.

      for nice overburn, use Nero.
if u're converting a movie to VCd to burn it on a cdr, the file size doesnt matter, but the time of play does, so a 734mb may actually fit the vcd disc no problem.

On a side note, if you wanna change the number of cd's DVD2SVCD splits it to, check the bitrate tab.
