    Tmpge Helllllllp?????

    hi im trying to use tmpge to convert an avi file so i can make a vcd.. but the problem is. i have the one avi file and where it asks for audio file i put the path to it in and it works fine, then i try to put the same path in for video file and it says cannot open or may not be supported, then i downloaded the plug in and i think i installed it and i still have the same problem, anyone know whats wrong???? thanks!!!!

    It appears your avi file is not standard. I would first convert the file to mpeg, then to vcd. TMPGEnc creates a "proper" mpeg which can then be used to create a vcd.

      Try use AVI2VCD to decompress audio
      and then use TMPGEnc to convert it to mpeg.
