Not audio for SVCD

Hi,

I'm trying to make an VCD from a SVCD with TMPGEnc. The problem I have is that when I have to select "video file" I select the MPEG file included into the SVCD, but the same file for "audio file" is not automatically selected, and if I try to select it I obtain the message "File ... can not open, or unsupported". If I continue with the conversion, I obtain an VCD without audio. Where is the problem? Thanks a lot

Have you successfully played the SVCD with audio on a standalone DVD player (NOT your PC)?
