out of sync at 25 fps

I am usin cce sp to encode an mpeg 2 from an avi, im using a separate pcm wav file for the audio. Problem is that in order to make a dvd the final output has to be 25 fps, my source .avi runs at 23.97 fps so the audio gets knocked out of synch.
What should i do to keep the audio synced and the video at the correct framerate?
