    Mpeg's audio

I have a VCD mpeg file which sounds are stereo encoded. Although i know how to tell my player to play the file as mono-left or mono-right, I still wonder whether it is possible to delete the audio for left or right. Could someone help me?

You would have to use an audio editor such as CoolEdit or Goldwave to achieve that with your isolated audio file.

Do you mean that I first have to isolate the audiofile with GraphEdit , edit it with CoolEdit, then paste it back to the videofile with VirtualDub?

No-just "Demultiplex" the audio from the mpeg video file. You can accomplish this with "TMPGEnc" (different from TMPGEnc DVD Author). Use the "Mpeg Tools" function under "File". Afterwards, you will have a separate video file (no sound) and a separate audio file.
