How Can I Rip Permanent Subtitles from Avi or VCD Videos ?

    Hi, guys !!

I have a video in my home that are already subtitled.

    It's an avi format video.

Unfotunatelly, the video is permanent subtitled...

There is a way to rip the timing from these kind of subtitles ?

In dvds, it is easy to do it : there are a lot of programs that can handle the task.

But, in this situation, what's the solution?

Any help will be very apreciated.

    Thanks.

If you mean that the subtitles have been typesetted on (the subtitles show independently on the video), you're out of luck. You'll need to find a copy without them.
