    Anticopy Protection on VHS

Does anyone know how to record an anticopy protection VHS tape successfully without saturation of color and loss of sound.

I've tried it before with 2 HIFI vcr's (years ago) and it worked but now it doesn't. Have the manufacturers placed anticopy opon anticopy opon anticopy or what ?

Basically I want to record about 30 secs. of footage off the Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope as an Mpeg2 stream and use it for SVCD. We don't have any capture cards in the house except for capture ability through the Geforce FX cards. But I believe the WDM Nvidia driver prevents this from happening.

    Any Suggestions

      Macrovision on VHS

Thankyou very much for your advice. I checked out the forum and found that others were having the same problem. Only one more question, there isn't another way, meaning software. I guess I have have to check out the electronic stores.
