My own subtitles for a svcd?

    Hi!

I wanted to know if it's possible to add my own subtitles to a svcd? I have a DivX movie and the subtitles are in a .txt file. Now I wanted to encode DivX > SVCD with the subtitles from the text file. Is it possible and how does it work?

    thx!

I'm not sure but I think that the proggy you're looking for is Str2vob.exe, it converts the SubRip format (*.str - text) in BMP images that can be used as subtitles (I think). Let me know what hapens.

I use the "subtitler" filter in VirtualDub, then i start the frameserver and encode the whole with TMPGEnc.

Oh, so you're using permanent subtitles, I though that you wanted to put the subtitles stream on a SVCD, apart from the movie so you can turn the subtitles on/off.

        Sorry, my mistake.
