TMPGEnc Plus no audio sync

I'm using TMPGEnc Plus, I'm trying to convert an 640x480 MPG file to 352x240 NTSC (or VCD format), settings are: 352x240 4:3NTSC, 29.97fps, CBR 1150kbps, Highest Quality, Mpeg1 LayerII 44100khz 224kbps audio, and clip screen for output video and TMPGEnc convert it very well, but audio is not sync to video, audio have delay. WHAT'S HAPPENING?

What do you mean by "clip screen"? Try it without that.

I am having a simular problem w/ sound synching. From what I gather the poster above said the clip screen setting is for the output video (not the audio). Most likely they are converting a Pal to ntsc and trying to adjust the frame size w/ that setting?

Maybe, I've had audio sync problems with TMPGEnc, too, when I tried to use clip screen to shave off the video noise at the bottom.

Use the "Fill" filter in virtualdub instead, then frameserve to tmpgenc.

Got the frameserver working, but the audio is still out of sync.

Then don't bother. Just join them in your authoring app.
If you're into it, get Goldwave, and use it to "time warp" the audio to match the video length. Still might be out of sync though.
