    Invalid floating point operation ERROR

How can I fix a invalid floating point operation during a conversion from an AVI to a Mpeg1 format. I was using the program TMPGEnc 12a program. If you know how or have an advice please reply. Thank You very much.

That's usually an indication that TMPGEnc "doesn't understand" something about either the audio or video formats. What codecs were used, and with what settings, to create the .AVI?

Thanks for the info, but is there a solution for this problem?

There may very well be - but first more information from you is required. Hence, I repeat the question from my first response:

What codecs were used, and with what settings, to create the .AVI?

You could try DivFix and see if it will fix your divx source.

"How to know what codecs and settings they have used to create AVI file?."

Load the file into VirtualDub. Under the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"...

Once again (I'm pretty certain we've reviewed this at another one of your posts), it would appear that you've got a file that has the audio encoded with Variable Bit Rate (VBR) MP3 - with which TMPGEnc cannot cope.

Once again, you can let VirtualDub v.1_4_8 convert it to Constant Bit Rate (CBR) MP3 for you...
