    divx to svcd help

    Hi.

Im converting a divx movie to svcd, should I choose mpeg-2 or svcd?

Also, how do I add the subtitles when burning the svcd ?

What program are you using for the conversion? Mpeg-2 is the right format for SVCD.

I'm using Aare AVI to VCD/DVD/SVCD converter 6.1

I tried using TMPGEng but is say it doesn't support my avi file

TMPGEnc most certainly DOES support AVI files.

In TMPGEnc, under the "Environmental Settings" "VFAPI plugin" tab rightclick on the "Direct Show Multimedia Reader" and increase to the highest or second to the highest priority. Then try importing the AVI again.

            Ok, will try.

But how do I add subs after converting the movie?

I burn in Nero so under what directory should I put it?

            Thanks for helping me

It seems to be working now.

              MPEG-2 480x480 29,97fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 48000Hz 192kbps.

              Does it look good?
