shutdown problem in xp
installed win xp and after encoding pc wont power down its stays on its now safe to turn off your computer rather than powering completely off.
checked advanced power management in device manager eg nt apm/legacy interface node but do not have this option in show hidden devices.
the question is how to I reinstall this device i know this would solve the problem if i had it installed and enabled.
enabled apm in bios also please help
do not have option in power options in control panel either
