what prog do i use to convert avi. to vcd and burn them to cds?

i know this is the noobiest question ever, but iodnt know where to look for answers, and im tryhin to help out a friend, thanks guys

See if TMPGEnc (30 day free trial) will accept the AVI, the video and audio streams, and then use the VCD template to convert it. If no luck, write back here and we can offer some further advice.
