    I think you are online now...
    I have ONLY 128 mb Ram but I guess the faster processor may well compensate for that. I have P4-1.7, maybe I am wrong...
    I am not sure about AVIsynth...if you may tell me what exactly I am supposed to see...

      I checked the AVIsynth thing...I use "simple resize" option.

          No filters.
          If you give me your mail id then I will try to send small jpg of all the screens. I wish to see the end of this issue. No one other than me seems to have this problem!!!
          First in CCE *.vaf (I hope the name I remember correctly) file is created which tool 10 hours. Then CCE_PAL.mpv is being created with an estimate of 27 hours. So total 37 hours for 3 hour movie.

            However, I really think the problem is the low RAM.
            If you can get TMPG running faster thats good and you should do what works for you.
