    converting drm file

    Hi Guys,
Ihave a wmv file which has drm protection on it. I have purchased the neccesary license to be able to play it on my pc in wmp 10, but what i wish to do is convert it to vcd so that i may play it on my dvd player. I have tried tmpgenc and winavi but unable to process it. Are there any programmes able to do this?

      HI nabby68,

Yes, you can use TMPGEnc Plus to open and encode a .wmv file to VCD although the quality won't be impressive. When you start TMPGEnc, close the Wizard, and browse to open for video from Vdeo Source. By default, the File of type is "Compressible video source" which won't let you see and choose your .wmv file. All you have to do is to select "All files{*.*}" and this in turn will let you see and open your .wmv file in TMPGEnc and proceed as normal

      Regards

As far as iknow, a guy can not reproduce such a file by any legal software if the file is protected.
