floating point error?? and hmm, Vegas Video??

i always encounter this in TMPGEnc nowadays though before i was not experiencing this problem .. i tried using 3 converters, namely, TMPGEnc, Virtual Dub, and Vegas Video ..

whenever i encounter a problem TMPGEnc (like floating point error), i expect that i'll also be having problems converting it with Virtual Dub (always says that the file is corrupt although it has started converting it and gets stuck in the middle) ..

Vegas Video is great though i'm still having problem using it .. i tried converting .avi file to .avi file but it takes a lot of space in my HD .. like it's converted 32% of the file and when i look at the file size of the file converted file (right-clicking the new .avi file), it's around 3.xGB .. =( but converting the .avi to .mpeg is well, ok ..

and that's where the problem starts .. sometimes after converting the file, i noticed that the sound is always ahead than that of the video ..

    pls help me!
