All u people who r just not able to get the right vcd quality: here's the solution - Canopus Procoder 2. It's even better & faster then TMPGEnc 2.5 Plus in termes of quality & speed. It solves the macroblocks problem that occurs in TMPGEnc Plus. Not only this it effectively performs the NTSC to Pal(speed up, that is) or Pal to Ntsc conversions. Moreover u can even feed the avisynth (.avs) files as input. I am saying this cause i have encoded many video files & found the results as expected & satisfying. So pls I recommend the latest Procoder 2 product to all. Trust me.

Those of us in the know, agree with you. It might be a bit pricey for most people though, but its versatility is truly amazing.

It's a bit slow on mastering quality but I don't care when you get output like that.
