i have problem about nero

i download some animation with bittorrent.It's a ".dat file".After that i use nero to burn,i select mode vcd and drag drop but nero pop up some message to me


if i ignore this,i can burn.But that video cd is so bad, its picture has many rectangular.

i check ".dat file" by using Power dvd




how do i do? i don't want to watch bad animation. please help me....

when that pop up come up click Re-Encode the video file.

if i click re-encode, i will get bad vcd.It is pixallation.

there may be no fixing some files, is this happenening with all or just a few?

since the thread is open still.

1) try to rename the .dat file with the extension ".mpg" play it back if possible.

2) forget nero, use TMPGEnc. it's 100 times better, and free also. re-encode it (the .dat or renamed to mpg) to standard VCD using it's built in template. so simple.
