I am trying to convert a film from DivX avi to VCD, the problem is when I use Virtual Dub to extract the Audio file to wav I get this error:
"Virtual Dub Error. The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format. Check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format."
I am using the usual settings to convert the Audio...
Full Processing Mode
Compression... no compression (PCM)
Conversion... 44100Hz
The File information for the Film is:
Video Stream
Frame size 640x272, 25000 fps
# of frames (time) 103115
Compressor DivX 5.0.1 Codec
Number of key frames 1349
Audio Stream
Sampling Rate 48000Hz
Channels 5 (Stereo)
Sample precision 0-bit
Compression Unknown (tag 2000)
PreLoad skew 7680 samples (0.16s)
#of key frames 103112
Is the problem that the film has been made using DivX 5 codec?
I have DivX5, 3.11 and 4.12 all loaded on my machine.
Does anyone know of away to convert this film to VDC?
Thanks
