I normally do divx encodingm, but i want to try to create a vcd. I know how to use dvd2avi and vfapicon...

i am currently using the panasonic mpeg1 encoder.

the problem is my source is ntsc (ivtc performed 29 to 23.97fps) but i want it to play on my dvd player (pal). So do i choose pal/ntsc in the 'type' field in panasonic mpeg1 encoder.

Also if u could recommend a better way to encode, that would be helpful.
