    Divx (with VBR) 2 VCD

    This is probebly a newby question, but i can't get it to work.
    I want to convert a Divx, sound encoded with a VBR, to a VCD. When i use TMPGenc there is no sound... and when i try to use Virtualdub i get a message that there is improper VBR audio encoding. I tried to use nandub but then the sound is compleetly out of sync. I'm new at this... can someone expleen to me how to do this.

    Simply use VirtualDub to save the audio stream as an Uncompressed PCM (WAV) file as follows:
    Load your original .AVI into VirtualDub
    From the "File" dropdown menu, select "Save WAV" (Enter a new filename with a ".WAV" extender).Click on "OK"
    Then set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copying"
    Then save the .AVI as a silent .AVI (set "Audio" to "No audio" after you've saved the WAV file).

    You will then be able to load the silent video and the .WAV audio into TMPGEnc for conversion to MPEG1-VideoCD.

    Let us know of your success ;>}

      This sorts the problem of missing Audio. I had the same problem and although the TMPG Enc adds the audio track in, it's sometimes out of sync. Is there a way to get it back in sync within TMPG Enc?
