DivX : MPEG-4 compression format. Can be contained in an AVI file.

AVI file: Video for Windows file. (Stands for Audio/Video Interleave)

NTSC: Television system used in the US and Japan. Provides video at 30 frames per second (for NTSC film, 23.976 fps) and 525 lines per frame. (Is that w/ or w/o interlacing? I forget.)
