Avi 2 Vcd

Is there a quicker program around to encode avi 2 vcd? I am currently using AVI2VCD and this program is taking forever. I have been encoding a file for more than 24 hous. I am sure there is a program I can use thats faster than this one.

hi m8 use tmpg encoder go to vcdhelp.com then click on tools left side download tmpg then download nimo codec pack if it wont let u have it type it in ur search engine dwnload to the same folder as tmpg also type in smr codec same again to the same foler then download tlbro temp[late of tools section at vcdhelp.com open up tmpg click on load find tlbro template click on the pal 1 assuming ur from the uk then click on configure or settings change to 4.3 pal then i use custom centre 352x240 but u can mess abt with these to suit yourself then click on video change to highest quality slow or u can use normal if ur source is really good quality b fore u press start choose ur folder for ur output file also click on options top left then eviromental settings and then vfapti then click on direct show multimedia file reader and click it to 3 from -1 and away u go hjope this helps let us know how u get on.dave.
