    I don't believe so. You will still need to use a frameserver for this purpose.

      It's possible Enchanter, renaming the .vob file as mpeg you can open the file without problems.

        In doing this, is it then possible to totally skip the framserving process in creating SVCD's???

          I think that yes, try it, I renamed the .vob to mpeg, and can edit, apply any filter and convert to mpeg2 with the SVCD wizard of TMPGEnc without problems. No frameserving, no lost of quality by reencoding, no nothing.

            You may find that you'll run into problems with:

            1) Other than the first .VOB in the video sequence

            2) Videos that have more than one audiostream

              Is true, I encountered problems with videos that have more than one audiostream but I can open and convert any of the seven .vob files of the blue seed DVD.
