audio out on a standalone but not on PC.

    Hi everyone,

I don't think anyone can help me on this one but I'll just have to wait and see.

I converted some of my dvds to svcd and they played fine on my pc. Then I tried them on my celestial standalone dvd player and they worked fine but then I tried them on my panasonic standalone dvd player and on all of them the audio is out to the video.

The timing that it is out varies from 1sec to 5sec's depending on which movie, both the standalone players are svcd supportive. The celestial is 1 month old and the panasonic is a couple of years old.

I know that this sounds like a problem with the panasonic player but I am hopeing someone might know something to try to fix the problem.

Create the SVCD with 44,100Hz audio (NOT 48,000Hz)...

They are encoded with the audio at 44,100Hz, maybe I should try 48,000Hz, what do you think. I know svcds are suppost to be 44,100Hz.
