    TV won't show burned VCD

    Hi,
I've tried (for the first time) to burn a Video CD from an AVI file (had my PC working on it all night). Problem is, I put it into the DVD player and the TV won't show anything. It works with bought DVDs, so the connection to the TV is not the problem.
Also, I do get the sound if I connect my HiFi to the DVD player. It plays absolutely correct and in good quality, so I don't understand why my TV won't show anything.
I used Nero to burn and to encode the AVI into MPG, since TMPGEnc just stopped encoding the rest of the movie after 6 hours

    Anybody got an idea?
    THX in advance,

Sounds like your standalone DVD player may not be capable of playing back BURNED VCDs. You can check the abilities/limitations of your specific brand and model of standalone DVD player at:
