wma2Wav doesn't work!Help!

I download the software Wma2Wav from this site, to add a WAV header to WMA8 files so that they may be added to AVIs using VirtualDub, because my DVD player doesn't support wma Audio; I open the sofware, select the source file, and the destination; but when I click on Convert a messagebox appear;this says "Failed...(if you want to see the messagebox, download the file "msgbox.jpg")";when I click on Ok, the system show me another error: this time is a C++ Runtime error (to see it download the file runtimeerror.jpg); When I click on "ok" the program closes.Please help me I don't know what to do to solve my problem, and I need to convert that file as soon as possible. Thank you.
