    Divx audio conversion

umm, this is kinda confusin but i'll explain it as best as i can!
I downloaded several divx movies off an ftp, they all play perfectly but i want to convert them to either vcd or svcd, i dont really care which to be honest now. It appears that while some use standard mp3 audio, a couple of the movies appear to use ac3 audio encoding.
TMPGENC either wont recognise the audio when i select the movie or if it does, it just doesn't use it in the conversion, the video comes out perfect but i cant get any audio to copy in these movies (and this is using both ac3 and mp3).
Even virtualdub crashes when i try to extract the audio, it will get to the end then crash for no apparent reason, corrupting what it just did.
So if anyone can help me get these movies converted then it would be great, cuz as you know, you can't watch divx on a home dvd player.

    Thanx
