    Theres a program called ac3tools. http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/do...s/ac3tool.html

You could also look here: http://www.doom9.org/software.htm#audio , http://www.divx-digest.com/software/...encoding_audio

Guess the first time I read it I didnt understand. Are you trying to convert a DivX movie with ac3 audio straight to mp3 w/o extracting the audio to wav then converting?

No I'm willing to excract the ac3 but it didn't work with nandub. I'll try ac3 tool and see how it works out.

I also would like to that, but my problem is getting the ac3 file extracted from the movie file. I didn't work properly when I used Nandub=( don't know why.

I use nandub and when you save it under save wav change the drop down from .wav (*.*) to all files (*.*) and name it something like sound.ac3 . Then use ac3tools to do a ac3>wav

Im sure thats what your trying but when I did it the first few times I forgot to put it to 'all files (*.*) and changing the extention to .ac3

I agree. Lots of people including myself seem to have probs w/ vob2audio. Heres a guide for it: http://www.doom9.org/graphedit_wav.htm or http://www.doom9.org/graphedit_mp3.htm

I have no problem converting a ac3 sound my problem was to extract. I haven't had time to test the method with saving all... but I'm sure it'll work.
