    stuttering conversion (FlaskMPeg)

    Hi Cracks,
    i HAD a running system until my disk crashed ... now i must install all applications again ... and got problems i never had ...
    During conversion of a VOB into an AVI every 12th frame get lost ... attached you'll the the process screen of FlaskMPeg, showing this behaviour ... average bitrate is (for example) 380 kbps and every 12 frames it drops down to ZERO ... and this is visible in the finished AVI ... about to 'hangs' per second ...
    My bitrate in DivX3.11 is set to 910kbps(default) ... i've tried fast & low motion ... i tried DivX4.1 ... always the same ... I NEED HELP !!!

          Ya, i'm talking about 0.594 ...

          But some news ...

          The VOB (which should be converted to avi) seems to be the problem ... i ripped another DVD to harddisk and there it works ...

          My rip is CladDVD 1.71 ... i alway use the 'remove macrovision' and 'rip full dvd' option ... anyone with other experiences? What will happen if the Macrovision is still in the VOB ... what will be in the avi?

          btw: PowerDVD 4.0 is able to play from harddisk ... the files, created with CladDVD are playable ... and with tvtool 5.5 (GeForce TV-Out tool) it's possible to remove the Macrovision during playback ... so you can use your PC as a harddisk-DVD-Player with Macrovision removal.
